| 1.教學目標 | | This course introduces students to practical English used in airport and ground service settings. Through real-life scenarios at the airport, students will develop communication skills for check-in, security screening, boarding, immigration, baggage claim, and customer assistance. The course also explores intercultural communication with global travelers' in-and-outbound practices, helping students gain confidence in using English in international airport environments for their future job. |

| 2.教學綱要 | Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1) identify and use essential English vocabulary and expressions commonly used in airport and ground service operations.
2) communicate effectively in typical airport situations, including check-in, security checks, boarding procedures, and passenger assistance.
3) demonstrate intercultural awareness and appropriate communication strategies when interacting with international travelers.
4) apply practical English skills to solve travel-related problems and respond to common airport service situations. |

1. To promote active participation and meaningful engagement, sitting in the last two rows before class begins is prohibited.
2. No smartphone/ ear(head)phone are allowed in class unless operated only with some specific periods by the instructor.
3. No playing any phone games/ No sleeping/No chatting is permitted during lecture periods.
4. Self-respect at all aspects. No cheating on test.
Students are required to register during the first week of class so that sufficient copies of teacher-prepared handouts can be made. |
